About the UBC CSCE Student Chapter

——————————————————————————————————————--

The UBC Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) Student Chapter aims to promote professional development within the UBC Undergraduate Civil Engineering community. The CSCE acts as a platform on which students and industry professionals can exchange knowledge, network and promote the civil engineering profession.

Our chapter is proud to support student learning and involvement in the student and industry communities by hosting events such as:

  • Industry Night

  • Lunch and Learns

  • Facility and Site Tours

  • Professional Development Workshops

  • Student and Industry Socials

In addition to UBC CSCE Student Chapter events, welcome to all Civil Engineering students at UBC, students may choose to become official members of the CSCE and receive additional benefits that include:

  • Seasonal publications of CSCE’s The Canadian Civil Engineer

  • Discounts to local, regional, and national events hosted by CSCE associations

  • CSCE Scholarships

  • The opportunity to network and develop professional skills by becoming actively involved in CSCE operations

Students, undergraduate and graduate, interested in becoming an official member and increasing their involvement in the UBC CSCE Student Chapter can contact us by emailing ubc.csce@gmail.com. Student memberships are valid until you graduate.
